Skywatch Friday post

On the skyline, embraced by the heavy clouds you can just make out the fortress and church of Monrupino, a village of about 850 inhabitants, situated in the Province of Trieste located about 9 km north of the city, on the border with Slovenia.

Only 850? Wow. I've lived in Metro Manila my whole life and it's hard for me to imagine living in such a small village.

Happy Sky Watching!

What a gorgeous photo! I love the shadows! Some of the clouds are in shadow, turning them shades of blue, but there is a large shadow on the landscape as well. And just touches of autumn colours in the trees of the landscape. Such a beautiful place, and so serene!
Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful! I had to enlarge to really appreciate it. Are those characteristic clouds for your region?
