Trieste by night

On my way home yesterday, there was such a beautifully lit horizon that I couldn't resist stopping off at Conconello again to enjoy the view. I didn't have my tripod with me, but thought I'd have a go and see what came out. And here it is.

It's great night shot considering the lack of a tripod.

And you even got the horizon right. That is always a challenge for me. Lovely shot of the night falling ...

STUPENDA ! In che zona vivi ? La vista da Conconello e' una delle piu' belle che ci siano. Mi sbaglio o era una giornata di bora ? Quelle striature sul mare, dalle dighe, sono abbastanza chiare ... Ciao !

It's a bit "nuit américaine" but really a wonderful photo. And I too have horizon problems like Julie...
Nice contrast with the yesterday B&W...

Now there is a night shot extraordinaire. Just superb on the detail, the color, the everything.
I like the cranes of the harbour too. Is there also ship building in Trieste?

Geez, Tash - don't do that to my eyes!!!

Perfect. I like these night shots before it is complete dark. Excellent light and colors in this one. Hats off :-)

Lovely - it has a nice softness to the lines that may come from your lack of a tripod. The water looks almost the consistency of glycerin.
