I never really liked the style "Mussolini" and not for politics, it's just "cold". Makes for some interesting pictures, anyway. It's amazing that a "temporary" fountain that does not even work, has survived so long and in such good conditions !
Good job for the photo. The guy walking across breaks the lines and adds interest to it.
For once I can say: What a terrible picture! (Nothing to do with the quality of the photograph of course, that's fine as ever.)
The non-working fountain seems a fitting memorial, somehow. I like the posture you've caught in the passer-by. He seems a little bent down -- oppressed by the thing. Very nice light contrast.
