Rotonda Pancera

On the corner between via F. Venezian and via della Rotonda, the elegant rounded neoclassical facade of the Rotonda Pancera (M. Pertsch, 1804-1806).

Only recently that I've seen a few buildings of circular shape in Mumbai! How old must be this one?

Those were the days, when it actually took three years to construct a building and it actually lasted! Really soothing on the eyes, the tonality of the B&W. Perfect.
