The lonely boat moored on the Fratelli Bandiera jetty is the "Borino", the school boat of the Nautical Institute, a prestigious school founded in 1754. After years of activity, this 23-metre wooden boat is shortly to be dismantled. The Nautical students will remain on land as they wait for a worthy replacement.

Beautiful seascape. Perhaps the boat can be recycled for some other purpose without dismantling. A floating retaurant or something? We have here in our city.
