Fountain

Via S.Giusto.

One of the few stone drinking fountains still standing.
Originally there was a foot pedal for controlling the flow of water, but the old system was removed and has been replaced by a
tap which is, of course, simpler, but much less romantic.

Less romantic, certainly, but still this makes the perfect spot to fill a water bottle. Such a civilized way of life ...

Italian design is world famous so I'm sure a more pleasing tap could have been found. It was probably about cost..
Love that stone though..
