Ponziana District

Brightly coloured blocks of flats in Ponziana district. On the left, you can just make out a graffitti on the white wall of the Via Orlandini Culture House. We'll be seeing it close up in the near future. In the background, between the light blue and orange buildings, is the San Giovanni Bosco church.

It's cheering to see such creative use of colour though the apartments don't have much of a view..

These shapes and colours immediately put me in mind of an Australian painter, Jeffrey Smart, who has lived in Italy for many years now.

Such fun colors! The developer should have gone the extra step and colored the flats within each block differently too ;)

But all the paint can't compare to that fabulous blue sky!

Promesso !

You've managed to do a great deal with this. I'm not drawn to this sort of architecture, but the photo is fantastic, and makes the most of all the elements. What a sky!
