Great contrasts and the reflections are lovely.
I've often wondered why they're called gin palaces..

I had to look up "gin palace" first. My first reaction was "Where's the pub? All I see is a huge yacht!" :D

Very impressive. Needs to be viewed enlarged to be fully appreciated. Great perspective lines. The quay makes it very 3D. Chiaroscuro effect. I could go on... Your pictures are great, but this one immediately caught my attention.
