I spent my summers as a child with my grandmother in Pula throughout the 60s. At that time, my parents & grandma would travel to Trieste for shopping & always bring back wonderful oranges, peaches, and mandarins. I also remember them making secret pockets in shoe boxes so they could take more money then allowed to spend there. I later visited Trieste twice and really enjoyed the city.
This would make an excellent jigsaw puzzle!
